Mr MP Singh retired after 35 years of serviceThe canopy of the Jackfruit tree, against the sun, granting us a shade, looks down upon a retiring man, [he knows so well], the man he has seen for many past years run between classes with unparalleled enthusiasm, and he grows keen to hear what is being said, what is the exchange between a student and a teacher.

Q: Sir ! what is De Nobili to you ?
A: It is certainly more than a school, it is like the sun around which my life for the past year has revolved.

Q: How has De Nobili changed, with time ?
A: It certainly has changed , not just the infra-structure, but other aspects too, the roots have grown, so has
the branches, when I joined, De Nobili was a plant, today it is a mammoth tree.

Q: How was your stay at De Nobili ? [what have you learned here ?]
A: It was a give and take relationship, I taught, learning at the same time & the most important thing I learnd
at De Nobili was punctuality.

Q: How was the experience of being, the father of a Nobilian ? [Mr MP Singh's son Mr Ajeet Singh is a
teacher at De Nobili too]

A: It was great, De Nobili does not only stress on academic, but also morality & there values inculcated in
boys at an early age, shows.

Q : Your message for the students ?
A: Work hard, respect your elders, live life on your principles and God bless you.

Mr MP Singh retired from De Nobili School after 35 years of service in February 2009.
