18th Inter Nobilian Elocution and Speech Contests concludes

This year, De Nobili School, CMRI hosted the 18th Inter Nobilian Elocution and Speech Contests on August 11. The elaborate arrangements reflected the team work of the administration, staff and the students, making the programme a success. The participating De Nobili Schools were CMRI, CTPS, FRI, Maithon, Mugma, Sijua and Sindri.

The winners include Rajashi Gosh (CTPS), Rahul Kashyap(FRI), Sthira Bhattacharya (CMRI), Kinshuk Shreyash (CMRI), Laya Srivastava, Antra Verma, Namrata (Sindri), Chris John (Maithon) and Shivam Mishra (CTPS).

The venue was vibrating with the enthusiasm of the eager and talented participants. DNS CMRI, by virtue of points qualified for the 54th Inter Jesuit English Elocution and Speech Contest to be held at St Xavier’s School, Sahibganj on August 25. DNS CMRI was also declared the overall Champions of the day.

The Trophies were presented by the Chief Guest, Dr SK Srivastava, Deputy Director of CIMFR and Guest of Honour, Fr George Thana, SJ, Rector, DNS FRI. Fr George Fernandes, SJ, Principal, DNS FRI and Director, De Nobili Branch Schools gave away the following trophies for academic excellence:  The Best ICSE 2007 Result to DNS CTPS. The Best ISC 2007 Science Result to DNS Maithon. The Best ISC 2007 Commerce Result to DNS Maithon.

Senior Elocution

  • Second – Baba Raj Guru(Sindri)
  • Third – Pragyan Shreya (Maithon)
