DNS (main) - The Champion of Champions

6^th Inter Nobilian 2011

2^nd and 3^rd of December, 2011 were two important days in the history of De Nobili School , digwadih

when we had the opportunity to host the 6^th Inter – Nobilian Youth Fest. The De Nobili group of schools including the main, participated in this mega cum auspicious celebration. Thanks to our present District Commisioner, Mr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal who consented to inaugurate the event.On 2^nd December 2011, the festivity began at 8:30 morning with the arrival of the District Commissioner accompanied by our Principal, Fr. Sabastian Puthenpura  alongwith and Mr. Srivastava, GM Tisco, Jamadoba.

The school band led the march-past of each school escorted by their respective games teachers. It was followed by our Principal’s opening speech and the DC’s inaugural speech while declaring the event “OPEN”. This led to the beginning of various events which included Track and Field, One Act Play, Solo and Group Singing, Master Jester.

The second day was marked with competitions like Slogan Writing, Drawing, Collage and Fusion Dance. The festival displayed not only the  competitive spirit of the students but also constituted the celebration of belonging to the wonderful family of De Nobili. The closing ceremony had its own grandeur with the enthralling performance by the “Mystical Rockers” followed by the prize distribution ceremony. It was even more exciting for the students of the main school, as we lifted up the “Champions Trophy”. Hail De Nobili, the Champions and the Best.
