Urgent Funds required for new school

The recession in the market seem to have hit the new DNS project. Funds from a major industrial house have been lost due to the volatile economic situation. It would really helpful if some generous Nobilians would come forward and help. "There might be some good souls. Lets pray and hope for the best," said Fr Principal.

The managing committee of Alumni Association has decided to hold AGM of Alumni Association of Denobili School, FRI, on January 18,  2009 at 10 a.m. in De Nobili School CMRI foolowed by lunch. All the life members are invited to attend it.

Dear Friends

Merry Christmas!

This year Christmas celebrations were at low key in solidarity with the events in Orissa and Mumbai. This year we are really praying for what really Christmas signifies, i.e. peace in the hearts of of people. In the context of recent experiences of Orissa and Mumbai and other places, each one must spread the message of peace and harmony, rising above religion, caste and creed. We must spread eliminate the evil of hatred with love.

Nobl Sudhriti Ghosh (ISC 2000) passed away Print E-mail

The year 2008 just got more gloomier. Religious violence in Orissa, terrorist attacks on Mumbai and now the news that Nobl Sudhriti Ghosh (ISC 2000) passed away in a road mishap on December 24, 2008. He was on his way to Goa from Bengaluru. The irony of the fate is he was the only one to die in the accident.

Our hearts go out to his parents, who are settled in Jamshedpur. He was the only child. Sudhriti completed his MCA and was working with CGI Technologies in Bengaluru.

One of Sudhriti's closest friend and batch mate from DNS, Abhishek Chakraborty told DeNobili.edu.in, "We were very close. He was a very nice chap, decent, not that much outspoken but a great friend." We appeal to Sudhriti's batchmates not indulge in New Year celebrations and take out a minute to pray for his soul. This is a personal tragedy, it's a sad time.

Successful career couselling by Dhn alumni Print E-mail

De Nobili Alumni Association, Dhanbad has successfully conducted career counselling seminar for the students of DNS Chandrapura, Sijua and CMRI. The workshop for DNS CMRI was held on December 6. Sanjay Jain from the association told DeNobili.edu.in ,"We are planing to a seminar in on the same lines at DNS Sindri on 18 Dec 2008 from 9 am onwards."
