Urgent Funds required for new school

The recession in the market seem to have hit the new DNS project. Funds from a major industrial house have been lost due to the volatile economic situation. It would really helpful if some generous Nobilians would come forward and help. "There might be some good souls. Lets pray and hope for the best," said Fr Principal.

DOSTI celebrates 8th anniversary Print E-mail

AROUND 265 DOSTI members from 9 schools gathered at De Nobili School, FRI on April 19, 2008 to celebrate the DOSTI Day. Mr Ashim Tesra was the organiser of the event. It was masti unlimited.

The day began with a speech by Fr George Fernandes SJ, the principal of Denobili school FRI, highlighting the significance of social work and community service. The vice principal of the school, Bernard Pandey challenged the club members to show some concrete results by bringing about some substantial improvement in the living standard of the down trodden section of the society.

TOI: Soon, it'll be easier to become pilot Print E-mail

Soon, almost anyone who has cleared Class XII could be eligible to become a pilot irrespective of which stream the person chose after Class X — arts, commerce or science.

Existing rules stipulate that a student should have completed Class XII with physics and maths as compulsory subjects for becoming a flier.
