The ongoing attacks against a certain religious community and its religious places in the states of Orissa, Karnataka and now Madhya Pradesh, is a clear violation of the Indian Constitution. The activities of a certain right wing organisation goes against the essence of
Ram Rajya and even basic humanity. Though this editorial generally refrains from commenting on religious and political issues, the incidence in the last few weeks has been very disturbing. This editorial feels that the Chief Ministers of Orissa, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh have violated their oath of office i.e. to uphold the Constitution of our great nation. Shame on you.
