De Nobili School, Bhuli began its classes. "It is a small beginning, but on a firm ground," said Fr George Fernandes, SJ, Principal-DNS FRI and Director-De Nobili Schools. The school has begun with about 65 students. More admissions coming.

"I am so happy, thank you for getting it to this stage," Anurag Dikshit of Kusuma Trust, one of the main supporters of the new school, said in a mail to Fr Principal.

 

"As we had promised, despite all odds, we launched the session in the new school on March 20, 2009, a golden letter day in the history of De Nobili. Although the construction is still in progress, we got ready 4 classrooms to begin the school with a small number of about 60. As the days are passing more students are trickling in. The first phase will be formally inaugurated after the completion of the construction, hopefully withing 3-4 months. I will inform you of the same then. We have a long way to go. But with the support of you all the school will move in the right direction and grow in strength and quality," said Fr Fernandes SJ
